The SWS Infrastructure aims at brokering between generic e-Learning applications and Learning Object Metadata Repositories by introducing a context-adaptive SWS-oriented approach. The negotiation with the user is one of the most innovative aspects of LUISA.

The LUISA LOMR is an open-source software framework that provides the functions to store and query for learning objects stored using the underlying semantics.
